Within their genus, Giant Madagascan Day Gecko’s are the largest species.

FUN FACTS

Animal Class: Reptile.

Distribution: Madagascar.

Habitat: Forests.

Diet: Omnivorous. Eat a wide range of invertebrates and small vertebrates. They also eat fruits, nectar, and pollen.

Appearance: Red stripes that run from their nostrils to their eyes, some also have red spots or marks on their bodies.

Size: Up to one foot in length.

Lifespan: Up to 20 years, average of 10 years.
