A private lunch room can be hired for an additional £50 for the day. Holds a maximum of 30 children/residents. Larger groups will have to have a split lunch.

Learning Experience

Suitable for ages 4 - 16 years.

General admission into the Zoo.

10 minute taught curriculum-based lesson delivered by an Animal Keeper in our education room followed by a 35 minute tour (please note, we no longer undertake animal handling).

Takes place on Monday - Friday during Kirklees term time only.

Minimum group size of 15 children per lesson.

Maximum lesson size of 30 children. Groups larger than 30 children will be split across 2 or more lesson time slots. Maximum of 120 students per day.

4 lesson time slots available per day: 10.15am - 11am / 11.15am - 12pm / 12.15pm - 1pm / 1.15pm - 2pm.
